Prof. Dr. Özlem Sönmez

Prof. Dr. Özlem Sönmez is an Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology specialist at Acibadem Maslak Hospital and Acibadem Altunizade Hospital. Her clinical interests include gastrointestinal, thoracic, breast, ovarian and prostate cancers, as well as cellular therapies.

She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1995, completed Internal Medicine training at Haseki Training and Research Hospital, and completed Medical Oncology training at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Hospital. She became an Associate Professor at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2016 and was appointed Professor at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Faculty of Medicine in 2022.
